Hitting size 8 with Personal Training

Since I began training with Elliot around three months ago, I have seen a significant improvement to my overall levels of fitness and have become far stronger through my legs and core. Having trained at the gym on my own every week for more than 10 years, I had thought I was reasonably fit, but after only a few lessons, I realised that I hadn’t really pushed myself for some time and had a lot to learn.

As a result of the sessions spent training with Elliot, I’m now also working out far harder when on my own. The icing on the cake was when I went shopping this weekend and all three items that I bought were a size 8…..which I haven’t been for about three years!

Having been a member at Fitness First for around 12 years, my routine had become stale and I had stopped seeing any improvements in my body shape. Keen to make some changes for 2011, I signed up to a personal training programme with Elliot.

Just three weeks in, and I have seen significant changes in my overall levels of fitness and running technique. Currently in training for a marathon, not only am I running longer and faster, but my legs feel far stronger and I am less easily tired.

My physique has changed too. I’ve lost 4lbs already, my stomach is flatter than it has been for some time, and the muscles in my legs appear less bulky given them a leaner appearance. The sessions have also boosted my motivation to challenge myself again in the gym and to try new routines and equipment.
